The Island Life
by Rob Green
The
Island life is the life for me
There
is no place I'd rather be
To
fish all day in the warmth of the sun
Or
fish all night just to have some fun
I'd
greet each day with a smiling face
For
life would keep a calming pace
I'd
have no worries, I'd have no cares
I'd
just thank God that I was there
Pony
Island Inn would be my first stop
For a
delicious breakfast that's piping hot
Then
off to Tradewinds to get my bait
And
fishing tips, those folks are great
I'd
fish all day in the island breeze
Or
just kick back if that's what I please
When
done I'd stop at Howard's Pub
To
get a beer and a scrumptious sub
Yes
the Island life is the life for me
There
is no place I'd rather be
To
live each day in God's good Grace
For
all his Blessings fill this place
